I have just discovered I have not been using one of the main features a tablet gives you. I was watching a video by Feng Zhu and he uses this brush where its thick in middle and thin at ends...so the harder you push the more thicker the paint stroke. For the life of god I cannot get this brush!, I have played around with all the brush dynanics changing the shaps and settings but my brushs are always the same size throughout. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?!
I am using PS7 btw

Hi capone,
I'll do my best to help, though Painter is my main application.
Click the Brushes tab at the top right corner of your Photoshop screen.
On the left side, click Shape Dynamics (the name, not just the checkbox).
On the right side, you'll see more controls. At the top, you'll see the Size Jitter slider and below that, Control: with a drop down menu just to the right. Choose Pen Pressure from the drop down menu.
Below that, you'll see the Minimum Diameter slider. Adjust it to control the smallest diameter of the brushstroke as you paint.
Paint using varying hand pressure to get varying width (thick and thin) brushstrokes.
Hope that helps, and other more expert Photoshop users will either correct me or add what I've left out.
Good luck,
capone

Thanks, I tried the pen pressure option but tried it again and through playing about found that for some crazy reason my pc couldn't detect the tablet so pen pressure made no difference...really strange since I have been using the tablet on this pc for ages. Oh well...
