First assignment for transport, mainly to assess drawing capabilities. I think I went a bit too far.
Here's the brief:
-Seats 4 adults (not sure if this could)
-AU$18-47,000
-Youth market
-V6
-and a couple of things about wheelbase, etc. that aren't too important.
I need to do 3/4 front and/or 3/4 rear and optionally an interior render, which I'll post up if they're good enough. Chances are they'll be in markers.
Done in photoshop, ~15 layers, maybe 3 hrs?

heyas flip, looks cool although it's kinda blurry. i don't think there's enough contrast going on especially with the cars paint. there should be more highlights. other than that i like it =) i want one $$

THE FUTURE!!!
heh, the image looks fine, I agree that some parts of the image suffers from a bit of blurriness while others are actually pretty sharp (=nonconsistant). It is pretty hard to review this image since it is a matter of design and you can just go "hey I did that on purpose", but anyways:
+ It has a slick design, everyone wants one.
+ Very clean.
- The reflection of the background on the car does not really work, and it is actually fairly dark at places so it consumes the blue highlight that you gave the car.
- background looks very flat and I think the image lacks a bit of contrast.
Looks nice overall :)

That's a slick looking car. Here's my big crit:
- The front axle appears to be offcenter in the wheel. THUMPTHUMPTHUMP.
- The space between the hub and the rim is a little nebulous. I realize it's sunk in, but it wouldn't be completely blank. There's still some light bouncing around in there
- Where are the door handles, bumpers and signal/head lights?
- The rearview mirrors look like they're laying flat against the side of the car. Some reflection on the side, or a shadow under it would help pull it away.
-The groove where the door is separated from the car look painted on. Again, a very thin shadow on one side and a small highlight along the other side of the groove would give it some depth and separate it a little.
I like your rendering, though. It's a great attempt, You've gotten the hang of painting airbrushy reflections pretty well.
That's my two cents.

Hey, that's really cool.
I thought the design was kind of interesting. It might be interesting to see it in perspective.
I wish more people would post some design related stuff like that.

Thanks for all the comments, I don't think there's anything I really disagree with. It probably looks a bit more futuristic than it's meant to be, the original sketch is from here: http://users.bigpond.net.au/laing/phil/scrib/vroom-011.jpg (4th one down on the left).
I designed a 4 seater which is the one pointed to in those sketches, it made me think of a sneaker and a rodent.
Anyway, here's a very minimal, stylized perspective of the 4 seater. I'm not sure how well it fits the side view.
