Took an all-nighter to finish this, but I got no regrets:

I also have closeups:

The original is about 9 x 13, and it has has extra brown space for if/when I want to make it a book cover. All done in oil, with a sealed charcoal rendering underneath it. Thanks to joshuathejames for his feedback, and Donato Giancola and CF Payne for help (I looked at some of their work to help me do a better job)

All C&C welcome. Hope you like it!

Looks really cool. The jekyll side looks good, but in my opinion it would look better if you made the hyde side stand out more and look more twisted.

Nice work andy!
A couple things could be better imo, but its very nicely done :).

I dont think that the orange-y patches around his eye work too well with the piece...they look more like an accident than anything else.
Also, the folds and twists of the hands seem kind of odd, or off. But maybe you were going for a less anatomically correct, and more "monstrous" look for the hands....

Keep it up man!

orphiel– I wasn't too sure how to handle the Hyde side. In the book he's not deformed. He's just an evil-looking guy. Still, for an image it'd be good if the evil side were more distinct.

amphex– I don't know why I didn't notice it before, but you're right, that yellow really bugs me now! What was I thinking? I'll fix it pronto. With the hands I wanted them to be gnarled and bumpy, but maybe it just isn't working out yet. Does it need to look more intentional?

Thanks for the input!
