As a designer how can you know exactly what a client wants to the subconscious..

I designed my site rolancers myself because I couldn/t explain exactly what I wanted to a designer.

I want to hire someone to revamp my site to be in one serious and professional, something more on the line of prosavvy and elance I tried myself but I am not satisfied you can see on my inner main page what I mean some conflicts with colors.

Can anyone tell me as designers what kind of aproach you will use.
