Teen Challenge 101: Christmas

First off, congratulations to OmertA for winning Last Teen Standing--your banner looks beautiful. Nibras (lilnebo) will be stepping down as moderator in the Teen Challenge Section and has decided that Nyctalgia and I will be replacing her as the mods who will be running it from now on. I know a bunch of you guys are itching to get started with the next round, so here goes.


Teen Challenge 101: Christmas

The topic for this round is Christmas. This is very open to whatever you want. Have a weird idea? Go for it. Santa redesigns, his sled flying through the air, the simple joy of Christmas (or if you hate it then the terribleness of it), elves making toys, a Rockwell-esque painting. Whatever. The deadline is a bit longer since it you will probably be busy this holiday season. Have fun with it!

anaiira: as long as you get it in on the 31st you should be fine! a little bit confusing cause its 230pm on the 31st here so timezones are a litttttle weird D:
of course you can give advice! that's the idea of this thread hehe
id gather reference/inspiration for this, it boosts workflow like a mother fucker

I'm in same timezone as you anaiira :P
His right arm( the one pressing against his forehead) makes it look like hes leaning that way (his shoulders are uneven). I also don't feel like he's actually pressing against his forehead, more like he's just lightly touching it. Kind of a small thing but w/e. keep going with your concept!

Sike I doubt I'll finish with only one day left - going to sleep and try tomorrow anyway.

Also, thanks for the advice. That was really bothering me too. I think I'll drop his arm down a bit, and move it around and fix some ragged edges. His arms are really... ARGH! :@

I like your concept. There are only two things that I'd have to gripe about now. Her cape falls a little bit weirdly. It looks like she's stopped and paused, but the cape looks like she's still in motion. Aaaand she steals a candy cane? Really?... Really?

Otherwise, I think she looks cool. :D

I'm off for the night. Let's hope that a couple of hours tomorrow is all I need.

Yeah sorry about the confusion with timezones and all. I talked with Nyctalgia about it today and we decided we will make it GMT for future challenges, but this time around because I wasn't clear just make sure it is still the 31st somewhere in the world :).

thanks for the advice anaiira, tried without much success to make the rest of her more dynamic... And oh haha its supposed to be like a dagger, meant to flip it.
