Hi all

Lotsa familiar names here from other forums but a few unknown ones so here's a quick bio of myself.

My name is Sean and I'm from perth western australia. Aged 36 (old huh) and a high school teacher of social studies and geog by day and colourist by night. Well its more of a cheap hobby at this stage but I'm currently working on my first to be published coloured cover for Killeroo comic issue 2 here in Oz (http://www.killeroo.com)

I've also got some pics published in Mike Burns new book coming out in August 2004 called "Digital Sci Fi Art" - all permissions were gained beforehand of course and these pics include the Cici pic and Aphrodite IX pic you see below here.

Anyway - onto the art - just a select few for now. More on my website: Http://sean.sevspace.com. All credits are included on the pictre itself - you just have to look for them, but they're not hard to find.

Please realise I do the COLOURING not the original B&W drawing for all of these...

I'm a big fan of the airbrush as would be pretty obvious and mainly use photoshop 5 for all of these but will occasionally switch to p/shop 7 when I need to do something that 5.0 doesn't. No real reason for this - just personal preference to the layout of the brushes etc and the fact that all my custom brush settings and swatches are in 5 and I can't be narfed redoing them all...!

Otherwise I have some tutorials on my website on how I went about colouring elements of the Victory pic above and the Cici pic that appears above. The stuff on the Cici pic is an edited version of what will appear in Mike Burns' book I mentioned previously

cheers
Sean

PS - here's another pic for the hell of it...this one will be in Mike Burns book as well.

All i have to say is fantastic, you may not have drawn the images but the colouring stands on its own merits alone.

Fantastic colouring and all in ps5 too.

Superb. Will check your site out.

These are done really well. Most look like the original pieces. My only critique is on the Darkness piece. Overall the effect isn't as good as the original. I was blown away by this piece when I first saw it, (I bought the poster!) but yours doesn't seem as colorful. Did you have a copy to look at while you colored it? Just curious.
