I think its a great, clean looking piece. I'm not sure how to take the red out, hopefully someone with great Photoshop skills will comment.
I think her right arm is a little too skinny, though. Just my two cents.

go to select > color range > get the slider to 40-50 choose one red line. get the preview mode to grayscale. pick the eyedropper+ . click on parts you dont want including whites. readjust slider until happy. bake in hot oven.
and here is the fish if you are very hungry*

Hey dude, tight picture,
even easier way to do it, in photoshop convert it to grayscale then image->adjustments-> curves.. and play with the curve to bump up the blacks and soften the light grey (that was the red) after 5 seconds of playing all red will disappear and your left with crisp lines.
Can work out who to post an image but..

A quicker, easier, and better method would be to just go to Image > Adjustments > Channel Mixer and check Monochrome - your lines will come out a lot smoother, and if they're not black enough, you can play w/the Levels.

thanks for the C&C, i found out how to get around the red without changing the line art, just delete the channels...

Looks pretty good, though a bit too futuristic for Ghost in the Shell imho. I mean GITS is futuristic, but it's really not that muhc space armour type hehe :D
But looks pretty good, and if you havent seen Ghost in the Shell yet you should defetenely see it.. awsome flick :D

Hey looking good!! I like her pose and her arms are thin...but they look good on her..it goes together.
Like everyone says...prolly should color it.
I use a combination of Curves and Levels on Photoshop to tweak linework. But I guess most work should be done on the actual scanning process itself. Most scanner programs should allow you to tweak contrast, levels and curves before the actual scan. If I have a good scan, I need to do less on Photoshop...if I've got a bad scan to begin with...nothing will help later on.
