Heh, Gouda your medicine man looks like he's jumpin in water puddles:D ! Perhaps a "stop the rain"-dance?
Iotrez, yours reminds me so much of a shaman creature from one of the Finnish Mauri Kunnas illustrated books(http://www.maurikunnas.net/default.cfm?template=bookview&firstbook=633&cd=2003)! Too bad there ain't no pic of it..

Illy - I'd say your Wacom confidence is definately coming through - looking good. ( Is the 'man in the moon' supposed to look that shocked? :) )
Iotrez - You have such an original style, and I love the exaggerated perspectives you use. Really nice.
Gouda Boy - Interesting to see how you use such a deceptively simple approach. I like it..!

Not a lot of submissions today, I guess St. Pat's has gotten the best of us...
After a few drinks, here's a quick 30 minute light pencil sketch then altered Hue in Photoshop. Reference used for face and upper torso.

GoudaBoy - Very nice contrasted picture with a lot of movement implied.
Iotrez - Great as always. I am digging the style.
Illy - I agree with Matt, your recent works have shown much improvement. Nice concept too.
Matt Dixon - Your lighting always shines man. Those "medicine sticks" are badass.
ApricotSoup - Good idea, but I think that it would have held up better if you used less of an outline approach and gave it more mass-based highlights.
plaf - Very cool and stylish. The palette fits.
Osmus - Good work. I like the first one much better, but I think that it would have worked more if some of your lines weren't so think around the nose and eyes. Did you use a mouse or a tablet?
RefrigeratorCo - I like the tomahawk approach to the character. Mohawks and hawks.
Mr Man - Oh those eyes are freaking me out!
artistanbul - Very sweet! I do not think that's crappy. I really like the spots on the chin.

nearly passed this one up because of the ancestory issues..it's amazing how much people go with Lakota or Cherokee rather than Navajo, Hopi or Apache when it comes to anything that has to do with Native American subjects...most of what i see here is a good example of what i'm speaking of.
