Hi, well i've been watching for a while and decided i'd try and get some help. first, i have this idea i had after reading about one of the thunderdome contests. it's supposed to be a giant war bird, as some sort of mount for a "war woman." in any case, i modeled it roughly on a cassowary, and started doing some PS today, but i'm having some troubly with feather texture. this is what i have so far: no where near completion, but it's a start, and this way i can hopefully get some suggestions before i go further.

i plan on posting more later, when i have more time...
thanks!
(i like this one hehe::eek: )

here are some more:
first, a completely photoshop B+W thing of some guy. i never finished it, it was mostly an exercise in using PS for realism, etc. just if anyone has any comments, suggestions, thinks i should continue or whatever...

here's another. Credyp, my nifty creature. i think i posted this before, but i'm wondering about colors and textures. yellow stripes or dots? furry or reptilian? or something else?

This quick robot was inspired by the speedpainting thread and nathan campbell's robots. thought i'd post it, see what y'all thought. are there any good tutorials on robot-esque metal rendering?

Hoy there,

I like your stuff. As for computer painting I can offer no advice, but I really enjoyed the bird and the reptilian beastie. Keep posting -- it takes awhile for people to respond. And when they do it is usually unhelpful garbage like this. :D Just thought I'd let you know, you're good.
