It's been around a year since I've drawn anything. For a while I wrecklessly dove into drawing and doing "concept art" style digital paintings, without having any definitive starting point, and without learning the basics. I think even being so stupid about my approach to "doin' art", I did churn out a few, at least, interesting pieces.
I recently moved out on my own, and now I'm looking to get back into the trade. I've gathered all of Andrew Loomis's books, and other e-books from Conceptart's archive and I'm learning the basics, learning how to use a pencil, and going through stacks of plain white paper. Maybe someday I'll graduate myself back onto Photoshop and dust off my tablet, and maybe I'll actually have an inkling of what I'm doing, but until then I'm hoping to become a regular on these forums, and to learn. Here are a few of my past... things.
