Hey all,

I just started painting in oils, and I love it! This is my first try at a landscape, any advice would be much appreciated:

Also, I just started a thread on oil mediums in the tech section. If anyone has anything to add, please check it out:

Mime: Thanks! :)

Retro: This was done from a photo. Unfortunately I'm too busy at school and work to paint during the day, kinda restricts the plen air possibilities. Thanks for the link! That guy can paint!

For a beggining oil painting this is really good. The only thing I would say it get rid of those ducks. They kind of add to a certain "cheese factor". I really like the light through the trees and the way you handled those reflections though.
