New Guy, New Art (Slightly Nude)

Hello everybody!

I have browsed this forum many times before, and enjoy looking at some the pieces that has been posted over the last few years. I hope this piece I am posting is on a par with what is expected on this forum, I am mostly used to making pixel art/cellphone art, so bigger CG pieces is a rather new field for me.

The piece is called classic rose and I have been tweaking it for the last few nights (Sadly, for the progress of the piece, Fridays and Saturday nights... ( :chug: )). So Sunday i finished it. There are some undertoned messages in the piece and i am trying to be very stylistic taking some inspiration from Falcoon.

Thoughts, questions or ideas are more than welcome :)

well i like it, lots of detail on the pedals, wow. if i may make a few sudgestions, put a color background or faighnt patter onto it besides white, even if its only slightly off-white it will "pop" her out better, also, sometimes a super faignt color screen over the whole image help unify the picture, but nicely done, i look forward to seeing more and better things from you on here. :chug:

Falcoon ripoff.

basically ripoff means taking an artist's work and modify it, then posting it as your own...the similarity of styles with FALCOON is clear, but then i would be ripping Luis Royo, Boris Vallejo, every Anime i have ever seen, and well...every influence i may have....

this is a great piece, a beatiful pixel/CG art mix....the result looks great, i also love the color choice and the stylized shapes...her left breast would be my only crit, it looks a bit out of place

Raptor: Yeah you are right, a darker colour would create a better 3-dimensional feeling to the piece. I will put this in mind when I finish my website and need to put her in my gallery. I am used to creating images with a transparent background.
Oh and I will look forward to seeing more of your art as well; the work I have seen from you has been great so far.

FROSTBITE: I agree with the tit, she is learning a bit though. Noted.

Jca: Yeah I got a bit carried away with over interpreting my work. The deeper sense of the image is a depiction of the character. The flowers represent celibacy and she is in the motion of taking them off one by one. You do the math. ;)
