here are two pieces i just finished up. been having fun with perspective. you can click both images to go to deviantart where there are bigger copies and oe3 event files for opencanvas3.

both of them are basically just me screwing around in opencanvas, trying out some new painting techniques that i've been learning by watching japanese oc event files.

if you've seen the anime or manga naruto, you know it rocks. this is what i think the main character might look like when he finally reaches chuushin level.

Hey the first one is very dynamic but one things that bugs me is how big you made his hand - yes i fully understand the concept of dramatic foreshortening, but seeing as that the "camera view" is closer to his foot than his hand and his hand is still bigger than his foot, it presents an awkword situation. Id chill out a little one the foreshortening.

Still a really nice piece.

On the second pic, i have a are more subjective comment: the guy is dodging flying weapons yet he has a big smile on his face; kinda unusual to me.

I also recommend pushings your tones, making the shaded and highlighted areas more dramatic.
