Great to hear. Have you heard about the new cast members for Cars 2?

Well, I dont think I'm even familiar with the old ones but I'm sure many people here would love to hear the names of the artists behind those paintings.

The colour pallet is quite beautiful, but i would expect no less. It seems more muted than the first one (judging by the trailers i saw). Maybe that is just an illusion created by the mixing of the colours. Anyway, needs more rainslicked courses, with the the lights reflecting in the raindrops, the 3d guys would have a field day (or pay day) with that :). Plus it's always more fun to race in the rain.

If you're just looking to promote, don't waste your time here mate. If you want to have more impact, get the artists to sign up and post their work in the 'finally finished' section.

That said, top concept art, very functional.

I'm glad to see Disney wants a presence on this forum. I do think Karma Militia has a point that it would be better if some of your talent were to post here themselves. Typically trolls run promotional campaigns of this fashion around here.
Have you heard about the new cast members for Cars 2?
The voice talent isn't what gets me to buy the ticket. It's the quality of storytelling and the morals of the stories. I'd love to hear about that. If you'd like to do some name dropping tell us about the talent that created it. That would be real interesting.

Oooh wow, they must pay their Marketing department well.

To be honest there was something about Toy Story 3 that worked for me on a level that Cars didn't. Maybe it was the perfectly timed execution of having it come out in the year that I went to College, but there's a certain level of humanity that Cars lacked. I thought Cars 1 was a good example of how places are dying out because of an obsession with infrastructure but... I don't know, this film looks like it's trying to capitalize on 'Tokyo Drift' and James Bond stereotypes. Particularly the Car chase in 'Die another day'. But never mind Disney, you keep on' milking that Cow. Here's hoping there won't be a Lion King 4.
