What bands do you hate the most. It's not just about the shittyness of the band, but also their douchebag fallowing.

I... don't even know anymore. It's almost a total waste of energy to do this. There are some very very intelligent bands that have really, really, really stupid/annoying fans (for the most part - there are tons of awesome people who love this awesome music as well) like Tool, Pink Floyd, Opeth, etc. Lots of metal bands (that I don't even care for) have really douchey red neck fans like Pantera, Megadeth, etc. And the entirety of the 'core movement is full of idiotic scene kids...

Ah, now I'm being all judgmental again. :(

I'm with you on almost everything else on that list though.
I can't hate "30 seconds" because they're nowhere near as bad as a "b-list minor celeb singer band" should actually be..

"AFI- Black Sails in the Sunset" is a sweet album.."Art of Drowning" is awesome too..

BUT there is no such thing as Black Grind Metalcore OR Grindy Metal Blackcore. There are fusions of black metal and grindcore (which is more a variation of crust.) As far as I know there isn't really any blackened metalcore other than really shitty black metal like Dimmu Borgir. There MIGHT be some grind-metalcore, I don't know. That'd be fucking awful though. But god damn the three of them fused would be awful, but mainly only given that I HATE metalcore and most grindcore... And I don't think that any fans of obscure music listen to metalcore, at least none that I've met.

Edit: And about it being shouty metal and isn't good, a fusion of that sort certainly would NOT be good (despite the fact that grindcore and metalcore are not really METAL genres, but rather variations of hardcore, which comes from punk) BUT you just admitted that you like AFI, so all of your musical credibility has just whithered away.

I hate when I say that I like a band like Chromeo or something as popular and indie kids(or whatever you call them now) say "Oh you've heard of them?" and act like I found their secret club. Yes. I have heard of them, they're really really popular :(. I'll never understand the point of that, trying to be the first person ever to listen to a band.

Or of course when they stop liking bands altogether just because other people listen to them.

Yeah, there are quite a few pretentious followers for a lot of bands which can sometimes leave a bad taste. I usually just like a handful of tracks from a range of artists. I've rarely ever been keen on just one band and followed them religiously, aside from when I was younger maybe.

It can be disapointing when you really like a bands music and then find out the musicians themselves are absolute assholes. So these days I tend to avoid media incase it throws me off completely.

I have to say Evernescence get on my tits a bit. Mainly because their music is on every freaking fanvid, ugh!

I would definitely sell out. I'd make my label music as my job, and make the music I wanted on my free time. I'm sure there are tons of artists who do the same.

This thread reminds me of the Assassin section on Newgrounds and why it should be brought back. Aside from this, here's mine:
Eminem: Even though I liked his first three albums, his fans are no better than ICP fans. I mean when Slim Shady gets lampooned, they get defensive.
Natalie Merchant: Even though I ignore her music; her self-righteous, holier-than-thou attitude piss me the fuck off.
NoFX: Can't they just admit they are not the hot shit they think they are?
Avril Lavigne: I don't know about you guys, but I don't find her either good or groundbreaking.
