Quite a different approach, but very effective.

My only crit would about the front foot/ankle,
it seems to bend in front of the other foot.

Is it digital or perhaps mixed media?

What materials did you use to make this?
My only suggestion would be to try to do something about her right leg. It kind of looks like shes stepping on her other foot which, come to think about it, looks kinda odd perspectively. And, the shadow on her right leg looks more like a deformity than a shadow..but that could just be me =P

Very nice dodowa. Maybe you should define the features more because if I was a modeller and wanted to model this, I would need more info on the details of the body. For instance the hand is too undefined and the face is too dark. I realise it is a sketch but I would prefer if you would take the time to work on these features, like the other work you have showed here before.

the feathers on her right shoulder.. those just rock.

if Artificial Human Reproduction is mastered and practiced you're going to be in charge of physical characteristics and unique facial design... damn straight :p

Yah.. how did you do that?
it almost looks like you applied a filter to the whole piece. and then brushed over it.

whatever you did,, it looks great!

my only complaint is that the wing looks too comicey. its engineered much like a cartoon wing and less like a wing that was designed for flight.
it kinda takes away from the whole piece in my opinion. it makes me take it less seriously,,, and it appears that the piece its self wants to be taken seriously.
