welll...this is a Charakter Conzept done for a ModProject. Take me abaut 5 Hours to finish it...maybe i would be faster with a light table so i dont have so much to erase...mechanical pencil drawing on A4 sized copypaper

This was done for an german Art Contest. Its my very first digital coloristation. Done in the Gimp with a mouse..maybe i redo it ^^. Took abaut 10 Hours
Heres the original Penciol Work for the Image above...all done with a mechanical pencil on a A4 copypaper ^^

Don't feel bad corky13. I've been here a long time and I usually get around 500 views and 1 or 2 comments if I'm lucky. Be patient, they'll probably comment on this one. It's the type of stuff they like.:D
My crit?. I think your colors of the different areas blend together to much. It's kind of hard to see where the creature ends and the man's clothing begins. Same for the background color. I think the creature needs some more shading and highlighting, something to make it stand out away from the man and the wall behind it. Possibly even a different color. Pretty cool though, I like the man's outfit. Good luck with it.:)

I agree with the colour comment. The colour scheme is too close together. Like the man, esspecially his left gun, but the perspective on the right one seems a bit off. Still, if u coloured this with a mouse, then good job.

Any comments or crits on the Tribuness ? Cause this is a more recent work (a month old...the other images are much older...abaut 2 months if i remember right o_O )

Why is it that people always beg for replies and comments? I mean - post a pic - then wait - eventually someone will answer ... maybe.
But dont say "oh my god - posted a while ago and Still No Comments!!!"

i agree with morlock, good pencils. What medium did you color it with? Also, i would reccomend some facial studies. Just sit around a place where a lot of people go by, and try to quickly sketch out their faces. this will help in a ton of ways (its helped me!). Scan some of these studies if you do em, and post them so we can see!
