I think it might have been a year since I last posted some stuff. The first two are parts of in class paintings (I'm about to graduate, woo hoo...) done in acrylic paint. I wish I could get the whole thing, but my scanner is too small. So the first one in particlular probably looks off (really roughly painted fabric and cut off hands). I hadn't painted from life in at least a year, so it's been great to shake off the dust. The third one is a work-for-hire piece done for a Wildstorm comic. I think it came out this week, I'm not entirely sure. The last one is a doodle I did in Photoshop, while talking to a friend. It freaked me out and I decided that to complete it, I'd figure out how I'd cut it up before disposing of it, if such a doll existed. I was going to create small fingers on the stubs, but I decided it was better to leave it alone.

I think that just about covers all the bases. A couple paintings, a work-for-hire and a doodle that scares the crap out of me:

very nice kazushige,
i like the acryllics, nice color schemes.the comic-cover is a lil bit too flat for me but i think the high-contrasted light-situation on the right is cool and works.
the doll just scared me a lil bit,it would fit into the macabre crew in theatre,i was yesterday... the peace was called shockheaded peter from an old kids-book, but i dont think you know it. sorry bout my bad english, anyway the pieces are fine

greets, natE

dood that second to last piece is sick! The front character look soo tight. the only recommendation i can make, and its a strong one it to one: instead of just having one consistant line weight on the large faces in the background, make them vary, ya know thick and thin. And two: dont have them black, make them a dark brown. I think if you do these two things you will have a really killer piece of work. So do that!!!

Sweet, somebody else liked Wetworks. I thought it was over.
Compositionally I don't mind the grey shape underneath the characters but I keep going back to it to try to figure out what the hell it is. The big guy's guns are so close to being the same but are different, kind of bothers me. Really good piece. That last one is freaky and I could see becoming a finished piece.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to keep this information in mind for future work. However, I should have clarified that the image wasn't for a cover, it was for the purposes of a pinup. They wanted the "original" team for that piece so I set out to try to figure out how to compose them in an interesting way. I have some of my cover work on the site and I figured many people have probably seen them. However, since I haven't posted these anywhere, I figure I'll post a couple of them:

YEAYA YEAYAHH! THis new stuf is great! ON the last one this girl in green, her torso looks very flat, like boxy - i recommend changing some of those hard angles in curves. i.e. the line that devide her hip from her leatard.

Your colors are great!!
