nice colouring, but i dont like really the concept. I prefer the other in your last post. His face is so rare... but anyway, good work as u usually do.

v cool
i like this one

the fur/hair is really well done
love the tiny toes

the face looks kinda flat, tho... two dimensional.. in comparison to the rest of the body. namely the knot on his head.

you've already done my favorite two seasons.. but i cant wait to see the rest :)

I really like this piece. The flow of the fur accentuates the pose which is pretty dope in the first place. The angular shadows (esp inner thigh) are really nice plus I like how you've created subtle 3d elements with just the colour and hints with the linework like the scales on his left shin. Most of all, though I see this beast as a deviation fom the usual breed that you do, which is great. Its good to branch out.
As for crits, well lesse, you might want to show his other horn popping out the other side there, unless he's only got one? His right foot does not seem firmly planted due to it being angled slightly. I think with a pose like this it would be more effective to have his weight settled solidly on both feet. Lastly, the ridges and creases of his gums sort of sweep to the side which makes whole area look like twisted cloth. Maybe have those lines drop more directly below their respective teeth. Phew.

Blahdy blah BLAH! Holy crap! Anyway, This and your lobster warrior are my faves. Love your shit, love it. Keep it up Aaron, great things await you.:chug:

i agree with the flatness of the face, a few lines at the crest of the skull to show that it's got some sphere shape to it would help alot. also the eye ball, by how you shaded it makes it look like it goes so far back into the head that it can't see. Great piece though. He looks like he is about to boogie the way he is posed.

I prefer this one, a fantastic piece of art :) I love the coloring, making the warm fur look as cold as it could get...

very effective, professionnal work ! As always we might say :)
but for this time I have to say that I have difficulties to understand the shape of the head...

WhiteBlaizer- I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but I'm glad you like one of them so far. :)

zeitgeist- Thanks for the good observation. I made some changes, and hopefully it looks better. Yeah, I can't wait to draw the next 2 either. :D

Sadclown- Thank you!

direwolf- Haha, thanks man.

Hexal- That's what I'm going for..it's challenging but fun. Thanks.

Lono- Thank you Lono. I still bow to your skills though.

keenerbean- What an awesome C&C. Thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking the time to analyze my art so closely. Means a lot. Yeah, with the perspective the way it is, if you saw the other horn (which there is :D) it would look skewed, but I assure you, it's there. Very good point about the feet and the weight and planting..I had a couple issues with the near foot and fitting it on the paper, but hopefully it doesn't look too bad..heh. You're right about the gums too..the more I look, the more I see it. Thanks again, very much.

davi- Yeah d, I just fixed the head-crest in Photoshop. Hopefully it looks more 3D now. I just noticed the eye too. See he um..uses magic radar to see...so um...yeah.

bluesilver- Thank you :)

bOne- Thanks! Yep, fixed the head I hope...

Damn man, I love this!
Your seasonal character idea is really cool to start with, and you really nailed "winter" =D
The pose is awesome, and your coloring style is very cool. And obviously, you picked the perfect colors =D
Keep it up!
