It's beautiful. What else can be said? The lighting, composition, anatomy, contrast of texture, they're all top shelf. Very strong. I've always had trouble lighting a night scene, so I avoid them. This scene makes me want to tackle them again.
If I had to find something to critique, however, I would say that the tat seems a little too saturated. I don't know, it is kind of fighting with the contours of her shoulder. Maybe it's just me. Also, the wood that is revealed through the bullets impact point, seems a liitle too thin. That's a lotta coke, it would need a thicker crate to secure it. Finally, the sound suppressor on the handgun is too small. It wouldn't be functional under it's current spec.
This is all nit-picky stuff. Now my crit is longer than my praise. Oh well. You know how good you are. GREAT PIECE.
Just my two cents (U.S.)
I would LOVE to see as many detail shots as you would see fit to post!

Wow this is great! A few things though: first, i feel there is too much peanut butter goin on in the picture. Im mean you really gotta use it sparingly. Cuz too much peanut butter will just muck up the image. :)

But on the real, I think you should tone her tatt down, i thought it was catchup and mustard on her arm at first glance.

I think the thigh and knee area or done quite masterfully!

propica!

warlockss - very well done i must say! your tree is really nice..great detail all the way through the whole image. your colors, values, composition everything that was said before me..i agree with.

my own crits are... the style of this drawing is something i dont really seem interested in looking at that long. besides praising you on the details, everything else is just....eh to me. but again thats just me. danimator makes a lot of good techinical points! but um wutelse...everything is just so in your face..nothing to figure out on your own..if that makes any sense. well thats my share of comments...

you are good at drawing, thats for sure.
keep it up!!!

:chug: cheers!

lol, I swear nobody ever reads what you write at the top warlockss. Maybe you should say COLOR: Etienne St-Laurent (aka WarlockSS)? Then maybe people would stop critiquing you for the pencils. They probably don't recognize you as Etienne.

Great texture on the crates. I agree about the dragon tattoo being too saturated. But other than that, nothing to crit.

I'm not usually a big fan of Al Rio's artwork, but somehow when you color these images I find them a lot more palatable. He needs to team up with you on a regular book.
