hi nice to see another animator around here
unfortenately the link aint working over here acces forbidden
anyway this site has alot of walk cycles you can learn of
http://www.freetoon.com/prestonblair/intro/frame.html
when i animate something complicated i usually animate a stick figure-like figurine first just to see if the action is right then i retrace it to it's final form
also something usefull when animating a walk cycle (when you do a stick figure) is making a difference between the two legs and the two arms, by this i mean make it clear that your figurz's left arm is the left one by marking it with a red colour(or any colour you want), thesame with the legs. I usually do this caus sometimes it might be quite annoying not to see whichone you are animating.
you are also choosing a quite challenging animation at this point in time. animating the guy might work although he is a bit to realistic to my taste. animating realism is really difficult, because animation is the art of exaggerration.
i had the same problem in the beginning. i came from a academic kinda realism background. it was kinda hard to change my style to one that takes animating to its fullest
i should try animating a fourlegged animal sometime but also thatone looks quite challenging
anyway dont be frightened by this.
enjoy animating, above all its damn fun
grtz lume
(i like your model scetches very much)

Yeah first reply , holy moment :D
Thanks for the link, will be great gelp for shure....
and thanks for all the tips had enourmous problems holding the proportions right...
Ive been too confident in choosing such a realistic style ^^ but now there's no way back, the difference between sketching a pose that looks right and an animation is increddible.
I've hardly the time to rework much of the stuff, so ill keep this animation as bad as it is, but the dog will get a stick figure prototype =)
hm other webspace maybe this one works out
