Hi, we’re a writing team with a track-record of published novels, screenwriting, and plays. We’re looking for an artist to collaborate with on a web comic series. Each instalment will be quite short, sometimes just one page, never more than four pages – and you’ll be working from a script that will give you room to be creative. We definitely want a collaborator. We’re looking for an artist who can do the whole process including inking and lettering. It will be black-and-white and the art style could be quite simple: check out Guy Delisle, Michael Rabagliati and Ariel Schrag’s web comic http://invadeeverything.com/ to see the kind of thing we like and the sort of thing we’re aiming for: this is indie Drawn & Quarterly type stuff, so please only get in contact if you have art/interest in that vein. No fantasy/superheroes. The stories will be ‘slice of life’ and all take place in London, so some knowledge of the city and its visual peculiarities would be a real bonus.
