Looks cool! Its too painted and perfect right now though-add some color variation to add depth, and add wear and tear to places on the surface that would receive it. Good work, keep at it!

it looks nice, but i suggest you work more on the details of the skin:
- make the windows 'shine more'.
- add some 'clean metal' (like chrome) effects to the metal parts.
- make it sharper, it looks kinda blurry
- and what Anthony said :)
well, later man,

cheers fellas.. your comment are greatly appreciated.
i agree with you anthony. it does kinda look like its just roll off the production floor..
ill add some weathering, and give it some wear and tear..
Gringoloco.. yeah the windows need some work on them still.. havent figured out how im gonna do that thought... yet :)
i need to do some research in that area..
the blurry look you refer too. is because the skin maps are only 512 x 512. so they lose quality in certain areas when mapped.. mainly the upper areas around the canopy..
and as for the chrome. ill look into that one..
thanks again.

good use of textures.. with just a tiny ounce of suspension of disbelief, the ridges actually look like they have depth. Does Tribes 2 support bump maps?
This will look great in-game. :)

thanks :)
as far as i know tribes2 doesnt support bump maps.
(which is a real shame) it does support alpha layers in .png format which it uses for reflections..
as for the depth. its an optical illusion.. a clever use of shadows on the texture map.. i tryed to keep in mind how the texture map is mapped to the object. and did the light source accordingly.. does that make sens ?
anyway thanks again:)
