Still kinda feeling out my style with digipainting and stuff...did this in ps, usually I experiment with painter 7, but yea...any guidance, or c+c would be greatly appreciated, or better yet some tut sites...thanx in advance

You should try and 'flesh out' the larger areas of tone and voloume first. Eg: add more shadows and highlights over the entire figure.
Sometimes jumpimg straight to finished rendering on certains areas will eventually throw off the rest of the pic. You need to establish a consistant light source, an overall colour scheme etc. before details.
You can obviously ifnish a peice quite well, but without the general 'rough' down, you may find some unexpected problems later on (after spending hours working).

Personally I always find that indicating the shadows quickly also helps.
The image looks OK so far.
