Hi, I'm thinking about going to CCS detroit, major industrial design (product design) and I was just wondering if I can get some I can get some information about the school on ranking of that major/school and other information.

im a senior graduating this semester at ccs. i study illustration. the ID department is perhaps has the most students in it probably cuz detroit is the automotive industrial area. im currently taking a freshmen ID class to learn their rendering techniques. Their work load, ive heard is strenuous but rewarding. so yeah i think if you wanna go for ID product then yeah this is the school for it.

Hi, I'm also an illustration student at CCS and my boyfriend is in the ID department (though he's doing transportation design, not product). I've heard from many places that CCS is has one of the best ID departments out there. They work you like hell- expect lots of all-nighters! A lot of money goes into the department as well, since they get support from the local auto and manufacturing companies. Not like the illustration dept.. *grumble*
