well i'm new here and this is my first post. rose painted from reference. pretty much my first try at serious digital painting. tear it apart :D

Needs more tonal and warm/cool colour contrast. Maybe try a much darker purpley-blue in the shadows and just a smidgen of a warmer highlight in the lightest areas.

Pretty good though. Keep it up :)
