Take Everything Away..

A painting I just did. I'm really upset, disappointed, and feel like i got stabbed in the heart. Don't know what to do, don't know where to go, and don't know what to say.

I'm trying to tell that through the painting. Will somebody help me achieve my goals better.

i find faces and expressions very difficult so i cant help you much with that side of it. as for the feel of the piece, just now it is very bright and pale which suggests, to me anyway, calm and maybe innocence. you could try to darken the whole image and have a bright direct light on the face. the middle distance stare on the face works i think, and you should work into the eyes more.. I dont want to rattle on about what i would do because you'll probably look at this again and have a much better idea of what it needs, keep it up though and i hope you feel better.
