whats misc in art terms again? Does it mean random or different, or is it when you combine for example, photography with drawing and painting?:(

Merriam-Webster's definition of a polka-dot: a dot in a pattern of regularly distributed dots in textile design
- polka-dot or pol·ka-dot·ted
Google Search (http://images.google.com/images?q=polka+dots&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en)
Chermilla - I think 'misc.' means that you can do anything as long as it has polka-dots on it.

Good topic, very open.
Quick 15 minute pencil sketch in a terrible mirror. Colored in Painter in about 45 minutes using the Seraut painting technique.
http://www.shawnadomanis.com/dsg/dsg374.jpg
Ryden - Cool color combinations. Very 70's like. Welcome bro.
Iotrez - Haha. Nice one. The dots on the face just give it much more characteristics.
ZeFFe DucKiSlatE - Did you paint that or is that a photo? Cannot tell. If you painted it, good job.
ApricotSoup - I like the idea, but the perspective and lack of shadows brings it down. It seems to be floating. Adding shadows will give it much more believability.
Olsen - Liking the idea there.

This one took awhile (1 1/2 hours). I'm going for sort of a Phil Hale "It's really happening" feel. I used me as reference. :) (Not getting shot of course)
young paddy1 - I like how solid it feels. For bumpy skin I usually use a slightly different hue for the raised parts.

...and there it was - the cool angle to this days subject. Nice, Railboy.
If I'd had the time AND didn't have this bloody RSI-thing haunting my right hand, arm, back, shoulder and neck THEN I would have done one with a bunch of red laser sight dots on a guy's chest. Instead I'll just enjoy yours. That's how he would end up I guess.

So, I wasn't the only person who thought of a bikini. I was going to put the dots on the bikini, but they jumped into my background instead.

Railboy - Great job on the bullet wounds with the blood splattering.
Iotrez - Made me laugh.

Polka-dot bikini... ...well, you guys beat me to the *obvious* punch:P
So I went for the less obvious... ...polka-dot tie.
Here is Pietro "Polka Dots" Tubbacielli (pronounced "tub -uh- chelli). Hitman for the mob by night. Polka trombonist by day.

Great pic, Chermilla!
I love her face and dress and even though there's a lot going on around her head, it doesn't get too "busy".
Line quality's a little shaky, and those legs don't look quite right, but overall I think it's an excellent composition and a very sexy image. Good job.

thanks william, yeah i wasnt to happy with the wobbly lines but it was a bit of a rush job and i use a mouse to draw with, so sometimes it can prove rather difficult!! :)
