Soo, my question is, do you think that this image is overpainted?

I see some strange parts like the hans are too accurate comparing wiht her neck. the face and the air have not the same quality and light as the rest of the dress or her hands... seams to ba a composition image overpainted. at least fo me

she's got hands of a midget ... or just a small girl... either way her hands look too small. so id say its not...

Hello again, im agree with davi and part of stephen post,

I see that the forearm near the elbow was tweak to match the hand position

The front ligth do not affect the face and his neck as the hands do.

What i think is that he make a images collage, hands, face, body, and then overpainted

The extra parts (IE: necklace) done for him.

For me was 95% overpainted

I would like to see more opinions..

I think it's not really overpainted but also not without ref.

I'm pretty sure that guy had some refs for that hand, probably shot by himself. But that's no "crime", foster does it too, pretty succesful I'd say :)

there's a few ways of doing this, it could be an overpaint, but mostlikely, the person just took some reference cropped it together and traced it over and then painted over that, i don't think it was painted right over the photo. i dont' really think this is difficult to do. looks fun.

I don't know if he painted over this I'm guessing he didn't. How would he have over painted the Wake up baby one which there is a thread on cgtalk that show his steps or like the Gorush one? It seems he has amazing skills painting other things would be kinda strange that he would all of sudden do a paint over here. But maybe he did I have no idea I do really like his stuff though.

Kind of weird to discuss this without mentioning the artist. Kind of makes him/her seem guilty before anything was proven. Or a real crime was comitted for that matter.

I think that, even if it is rotoscopy, it is very well executed. The hands are a bit out of place though.

i think is a photocomp. There are things that doesn´t fit togheter.
From two different paintings or from a painting and a photo, but who knows...
