Nice. It's too bad the new Solid Tools feature is PRO only.

Free version has no support for .DWG & .DXF.

I think that was lost in version 7, was it not? But there are plugins (http://sketchuppluginreviews.com/tag/dwgdxf-import-plugin/) for importing those filetypes.

Just got back from vacation and haven't had a chance to try the solid modeling tools yet. That said I still can't figure out why anyone would need them. The intersect tool plus being smart about making groups does the same job. Well the intersect in 3 parts is kind of neat but I hardly think anyone using free over pro will miss anything.

Has anyone noticed the change to Push-Pull function? If you select a face it stays selected after you use push pull. You then have to press ESCAPE to deselect the face to push pull another side.
I was looking for an option to turn this off but haven't found it yet. I've gone back to version 7 till I can figure this out.

Doesn't do that with me. Works as it does in 7.
