WIMP suit

Its a revision of an old design for a personall project, its supposed to be a space combat suit (heavy 50's sci-fi influence). C&C appreciated.

i painted it up while im wating for a reply, umm really hate the paint job, maybe some suggestions on that.

go for lights. it seems that you have no light source (or almost) in your picture. this will have a great effect on how your material looks and it will give the objects a dimensional feeling.

I think so, too. You have to add more shadows to your drawing. The shadows that you have added seems spots. First, think in the direction and the position on the light and then add it think in, at the same time in this light.

you guys know any good guides? ive never done much beyound sketching, and so im really lacking in rendering abilities.
