DESCRIPTION


The Veteran



He has seen a thousand wars... Known as “the Veteran”, some say Battle was his father, War his mother… Scarred by battle, the Veteran is a legend on the battlefield!

Design The Veteran!

This is a more open ChoW, but keep in mind the following:

- Any time period or setting is allowed.
- Can be male or female! :punkgirl:
- Must show that this character has seen many battles, he is experienced and a legendary figure. Not to be messed with.

Bio: Known as the Vulture among his enemies, the veteran belongs to a tribe of mixed blood warriors dedicated to ending European expansion with the sword. He's lead hundreds of battles and raids against colonists in the last twenty years.

My entry and wip, to be honest I'm not quite satisfied after finishing it, the gesture/pose, the details especially the scars aren't as pronounced as I originally intended, and I finish this a little bit rushed, too little time spent on exploring thumbnails. I hope in the next CHOW I could fix it.

After 20 years as an Army Sniper, Analise Konchalovsky. Many are reluctant to take her seriously when they judge her by her young looks, but quickly regret such judgement when they see her skills in action. 10 years ago, while providing cover-fire for her squad, it came down to a face off with an enemy sniper. She waited for him to take another shot so that he would expose himself, but her bright red hair turned out to be the target. She did deliver the kill-shot, but not after being grazed by a 50 cal. bullet, scarring her face and blowing off her ear. Ever since that battle, she has had very little sense of humor. Men tremble in fear when she smiles. There are rumors that her negative response to the advances of men are simply becuase her sexual interests lie in the fairer sex, but again, merely rumors. She doesn't talk much, but when she does, her strong alto voice demands attention.

This is Innya a veteran hitwoman(ironicaly enough this means "the innocent" in russian). She is a russian mob doll who had to learn a whole new set of tricks to survive in the harsh enviroment she grew up with. She can kill you with 30 different ways before you even know she is there but she is not averse to using brute force either. People who underestimate her sadly dont get a chance to learn from their mistakes...ever again!
When she is in a killing mode she wears a spiked colar on her neck (kind of like a reverse danny the dog). The scars on her right arm are not the number of people she has killed but rather the number of times she has eluded death herself. She hides most of her battle scars with tattoos to feed the myth that wants her invinsible and imposible to hit.

its missing a few finishing touches but i thought i d miss the deadline so i posted it.
the sons of anarchy tattoo is a tribute to the series ofc :P

not sure if i'll be able to work more today, so here is mine,
as i suck with armors i just ran to the first most basic idea that came to my head so i could try to paint some armor whatever...
bigass barbariamish medieval soldier wich kinda chosed to stay in the front line instead of stepping up militar level or waht ever the way you say it in english

hope i'm able o add more scars and make it looks like his armors was actually used you know

Lovely lovely work - just wish i'd been able to join in!! My group exhibition was fairly dull today with not much interest. It was held at an old persons home in the gardens where all us artists were in tents etc. so the visitors were mostly people who wanted a nice wander around the pretty garden!! booo!!

Well done to everyone who entered! I didn't get a chance to finish mine due to work. My only general criticism for some of the pieces is the characters don't look old enough or scarred enough to have seen 'a thousand wars' to me.

A lot look really great, but I tried to differenciate between just elite warrior and veteran.
In my opinion, the vetern has a lot more experience than just just fighting skills like the elite warrior.
