PLEASE OUTSIDE HOST THE ICON
k thxAn outside host means exactly that - an image host that's not Conceptart.org. Instead of adding the thumbnail with the attachment manager you have to host it on another site (your private domain, photobucket, (both recommended) or imageshack for instance).
The full image gets added with the attachment manager, however.

After you uploaded the thumbnail somewhere, you simply add the around it and you're doneeow

I really like the theme of this one, so i also will be attempting my first EoW.
A quick thumb - i really need to be more lose with these though. Also i don't think its much of an 'intergalactic' type building, i should make it more Sci-fi, but i'm quite keen on the overall idea. Will do more thumbs before i settle on the final idea.

I work on this concept, is really a mini council, but my idea is a visible representation of the species and not in miniature, its a problem ha ha

I've never really done the inside of buildings before, so this was a bit of a challenge. It took me forever to sketch it, but here it is!

There's some really good activities this week. Let's see if I can do all of them.

Nice Looks definitely conference. Don't forget to get the ellipse right. Perhaps add some intergalactic stuff.
Emokun
I like it colours, creatures and architecture. Very alien. Maybe show the light sources a bit more.
glaudarien
Nice thumb. As you say it could bee more intergalactic. Perhaps a hologram in the center.
witek'
Good start. The architecture looking good.

Going for the conference room after the inter Galactic Council

I redid mine in sketchup and painted over it a bit.

Noah7: thats looking really great so far, better than the thumb. I was thinking of doing mine in Sketchup too - it seems like a really handy process.

JanJager: Thanks! I may try add a hologram in somewhere its a good idea. I really like the cleaness and design of your piece, however i think it could look a lot more interesting if seen from a difference angle as at the moment is side on which is quite boring, imo.

[EDIT] Some more progress + a new idea, though i think i'll go with my first and take it into sketch up
[EDIT 2] Started the final piece, painted over a model from sketch up, + a quick colour overlay.
[EDIT 3] I think its pretty much finished for now, but any crits are more than welcome :D

Gerat idea and nice picture.
glaudarien
Beautiful progress. Nice view and design. Have you tried to introduce some warmer colour on the nearest foreground.
Noah7
Lovely forms nice focal point. Looking forward to see you render it out more.

Thanks for the crit. I'm aware of a boring perspective but staying with it. Trying to have something interesting in the sealing instead, but not very happy with it at this point.
