yo just wanted to say one thing...all the work that was done on individual aspects of the body you did a temendous job. I just want to see more of that...instead of the whole body maybe small parts of it so you can concentrate more of the detail on those pieces. IMPACT!!!

hey man, i see definite improvement. one main thing i notice in your drawings is, youre trying too hard. dont worry so much about producing a good picture.. .just draw and FEEL what you are drawing. keep doin those reference drawings, but make sure you are studying what you are doing..not just copying the picture. keep it up man

Your self-portraits seem to be improving as well.. perhaps, just to see the effect, reference from a picture? Since I had the privilege *cough*;) of seeing you live, I notice some systematical differences between how you really look and how you draw yourself.
It's hard nailing face-traits, but it's usefull trying just that from time to time.

Some great stuff here.

Love the feeling in everything, especially the self portraits. I think you could really use some cloth studies and really focus on folding in a few drawings. I think that would really bring those full body shots together.

good stuff you got here, jens. the booger looks pretty good. .but id like to see a little more contrast to really pull out the shapes. the quick paint of that creature looks sweet. .. just a throught, but what if you added some other colors in there. . .like blue or magenta or something? thats just the first thing that popped into my head when i saw it. keep em comin!

I'm doing them without using an eraser, try to nail it from the first try, when it's fineshed it could happen that i erase an eye because it's too far a way or a chin that's too short

ra: usually the lines go down really fast with no erasing and really light then start rendering it, following the directions of the feathers/shapes. Time depends, i somethimes get bored really fast and then i just finish it very slowly, rendering out some, take a break, do some more. It's weird but i just can't leave it unfinished like that :) So I think the big one took me about an hour (i completely screwed up his left side btw :D), the small ones took mayby 5-15 mins, not sure

in general i like to draw people who might beat me up if they notice i'm drawing them, to make it more exiting. But the girl in the first pic was definatly flattered that i drew her, her boyfriend wasn't, OEPS!

did it a few weeks ago, it's supposed to be a sp but i just drew something out of my head hehe. Bad pic, had to sharpen it in ps so now it looks a bit crappy. This was the first semi serious painting i ever did.
