Retro-ish painting

Hi, everybody! This site is very inspiring and there are so many talented people in here. I've been a little afraid to join and post anything in the past, but I decided to suck it up and just do it. This is a work in progress for almost a year now. I'm not sure if it's worth finishing. What do you think? Any C&C welcome....

there are some good and bad things in this pic. Youre obviosly on the right track. You need some help with colors and your values are too close( more contrast) but the only advice i can give you is MOVE ON. not because this pic is bad but because youll learn more by doing more new paintings than you will by spending months on one. Also look at master painters--theyll be your biggest supporters!

Hey thanks for the advice, tyboogie. I AM working on other stuff, but for some reason I'm partial to this one. I know I really need to work on my colors and use contrast more. Oh well....back to the drawing board! Anybody else with some more C&C?
