Magneto vs Green Lantern

My friend (Caanan) and I, were talking about drawing something. And the most unlikely “match-ups” came up. So we both picked a character, and I drew them.

I lost “happiness” with the overall progress, and the picture itself. I think it shows in the line work. None the less, Caanan said “Keep going!” So it’s finished. Still unpleased, but here she is.

i really like it. i just wish there was a black line around GL's "ring blasts" right now its too hard for me to see the green over the light blue background

I really like Magneto in this, great pose, great action. The Green Lantern is a bit awkward to me. From the waist down I'm not to fond of the pose, the exteme foreshortening of the lower half doesn't sit well for me. His chest is a bit weird. I think it's his pec, but it kind of looks like a woman's breast.

I'd have to disagree with the black around the green beam. I personally like that there is no black around it. It glows and shows motion very nicely.

I love the concept, I love the comic book style. I'd have to say, it's Magneto that makes this picture for me.

i was expecting to see gl john stewart.

style is good, composition is good. i particularly like the shading/coloring on magneto's cape.

yeah anyway, magneto would win. iron in blood -> stop iron at heart -> winner.
