its really good. although one thing I think it could ues is a bit more detail on the background or on the grass itself. maybe if there where plants inbetween the grass or different colored grass!

That's really cool. A very good concepted character, setting and pose. Just from one look you can see many things about the character. my new desktop if you don't mind.

Thanks guys! Im just entering an art program at a my local community college. Im 21 and just starting school (sucks to be poor) anyway, can any of you guys give me some advice on what classes to take when i get into a real school say in like 2 years? I wanna be in the game industry as a concept artist (doesnt everyone) but i know i have to start from the ground up, i really never had any traditional art training im pretty much all self taught. thanks i advance guys these art forms have really opened my eyes to some great art and continue to inspire my day after day....

Now THAT'S penis imagry! But seriously, folks, that's one fine illustration. Good work, and best of luck in school! My advice to you, future concept artist, is to not fall into the trap of specializing in one field, say creatures or chicks. Learn to draw, and learn to draw everything. Turn your brain recorder on NOW, and start to learn as much as you can about why things are the way they are, how they function, and their histories. Sound like alot? It is! You'll need both skills and knowledge to be a good artist. Watch a lot of tech documentaries. Keep posting stuff on these boards for C & C. Cultivate a sense of drama in your work. That's a full plate, yeah- but you've dedicated your life to art, right? Look at all the cool thing things you see around you, and bear in mind that somebody had to design it (well, the man-made stuff anyway. Let's not get into heavy philosophy! ^_^). It might as well be you!
