Okay, this is gonna sound like a really stupid question, but I'm kinda struggling with my coursework for my GCSEs.

I'm taking this subject early, so I'm a lot younger than the other students and I'm finding it hard to get ideas.

The project I'm currently doing is 'Dreams', I've got halfway through it...and now I've gone completely blank.

Can anyone please suggest anything to help me get going again?

B.T.W, I'm a newbie here, and it's taken me a while to pluck up enough courage to post something. Please be kind!

Dream eh, maybe some wicked colors and alot of blur ^^
I dont really know... i just get my ideas while trying to sleep, watching other peoples work, in school and all those places where you just dont move a muscle just staring down in a wooden desk...almost drooling.. hmm ....

i'm nearly finished my GCSE art and i'm predicted highest grade, i havn't done that topic(wish i had sounds fun!) but i'll try my best!
-you could first of all do a brainstorm about dreams, writing what the word means to you all around the edge.
-you could then pick some of the ideas, and make a picture of them, kinda blurry, weird, everything out of place.
-then bring an art movement into it, for dreams, i'd suggest surrealism, it's kinda out of place things in normal places, a bit wierd really.
-then an artist from the movement, or dream related, rene magritte+salvidor dali are very good surrealists.
-then paint sections from their work, and get ideas fro your own, using their influences.

don't worry about, it, ideas come eventually!:)

hope this helps you, good luck!
