Playing around with markers, white ink and jet/mecha design. I personally dont like the legs on ver. 2, but thats me, oppinions?

good stuff man, i like the designs. reminds me of spinefinger (a good thing). he'd definitely be one to look at for sharpening up your marker technique. things look good, but you could push your contrast a little i think--get your darks a little darker and your whites a little whiter with levels in PS once you scan. the midtones and darks are there but there doesn't seem to be significant highlights to help further define the surfaces, other than the little point highlights here and there. maybe a touch of pastel?. also, get a fatter sharpie or something because the background looks a little labor-intensive :D

cool. I was looking at your gallery. I think you have a lot of ideas and creativity in the designs. your rendering skills can improve with practice, but your designs are already on the way.
