I'm a sucker for a good creature....especially when imagination is utilized. Nice work...post more if you got 'em. :chug:

These are looking really good, your folds in the skin and the womans dress are a good start. I really like your creature disign as well. The bottom one reminds me of the creature from Ralph Bakshi's Wizards, awsome man... Um I was wondering if you draw your creatures out first or just go at it? Look forward to seeing more, u should create and owner or rider to go along with the last creature, perhaps a sadle!

Hi! thanks for all of the comments!
To answer your question Spacemanchuck- For all of the maquettes I have concept turn arounds done before I even start. I also think of a little personality and reason for the textures and looks I give them. I feel I can work better on them knowing more about them. I give reason to their shape and textures. Everything is there for a reason, builds the creature/character to a more realistic level.
I am challenging myself on the next one I started a couple of days ago. A self-portrait bust of myself in sculpey. Definately difficult when you see yourself different than others do. I will post that as soon as it is finished or WIP if I can get pictures halfway, it will be a couple of weeks though, taking my time on this one for my portfolio.

Thanks again to all who commented!

By the way it is a little bit over half scale and yes I do plan on trying to put hair on it.
