hey people. heres a new sketch i did for my portfolio. Will it help me get a job or lessen my chances. what do you say?

Hey Stewart. As far as your portfolio goes, I don't know. I do have a few suggestions for you about the piece itself. You might want to play with line weight a little. Make some of the lines thicker than others. As it is, the plant gets lost in the doorway directly behind it.
One other thought might be to adjust the composition a bit to make it a bit more dynamic. Maybe not make the plant the center focal point of the picture.
One last thing- If you put a shadow (casted from the "bridge") on to the wall that descends down out of the frame, I think it would give it an overall depth that we don't have right now.
It's a decent idea, I'd like to see you adjust it some.

Im not sure what they are looking for but if you want someone to give you some insight as to what they feel allow me to be the first. The only problem i have with it is it's too simple. However i love the lines and i definitely see you drawing a more elaborate drawing next time. If this is your first time sketching an environment i say good job. Just need to see something with more.... how do you say...stuff in it. But i still love it thats why im posting a message
