I am REALLY battling the urge to draw a black circle on a white background and post it. Gah, that would probbaly get me flamed, so I won't do it, but I claim the idea as my own, in case anyone does do it. :D

I rushed it and did a sloppy job in 5 mins.

Ello all.
Iv got a painting inspired by yesterdays challenge, but I have not finished yet, so I did a 35 minute painting. ITs a guy at the bottom of a hole... or a guy looking up at a space time-rip... or an acid trip. You choose. :)

Mr man: there's a gap between your image and my comprehension

im very limited with my pc drawings so i try and economise it.
Great work everyone, i especially like scetchling's pic.

@ApricotSoup: cool idea!
@YoungPaddy: I also had the same idea but you did it way better than I could have .
@Railboy: you should be the one writing the tutorial ;)
@Sketchling: whatever it is, it's beautiful! :D

Ha ha, thanks everyone. Seriously though, I want to be as good as this guy: http://www.dusso.com/ And I can't put my finger on how he does it.

ApricotSoup - That is really creepy.

Helzer & Young paddy1 - Those are really impressive space scenes... Helzer I'm guessing your nebulae are made using smudge? YP1, did you use reference for the sun? If not, how did you do that? It looks perfect...

Mr Man - Thanks, I get it now

I had an idea, but no time to do it in, so here is a few minutes of work. Sorry I couldn't do better on it, but I need to go to sleep.

I was really stumped thinking about this one and suddenly it hit me: The hole of forever must be down the back of the sofa!!

How else would everything go missing? ;)

Messing around with colouring styles again. Hope everyone likes it! :)

PS. I like your acid trip sketchling!

For an environment, there are a lot of different approaches today. Keep it up.

I used a traditional approach, but an untraditional medium. 30 minutes in 3D Studio Max using VRay to render. Hope that this is not frowned upon.

Helzer and sketchling have my favs of the day.

So I know this is supposed to be an environment, but I got bored with my attempts to do just another black hole or something and so I did this one instead. It represents the depression that some women face post-partem (from either birth or abortion). The topic of a permanent and endless void seemed to make me think of that I guess.

http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v83/Russell_Collins/DailySketchBook/DSG372_TheForeverHole.jpg

Sorry if this is too strong for anybody. Please let me know and I'll post it as a link instead.

Loove HellTaxi's and DaveTheOriginal's.

Some humorous stuff this round.

And Railboy, I agree with everyone else. I think you're doing rather well, too.

Well, I intended this to be just a closeup on the mouth, but I just kept going.

The endless pit of a fish's gut!

http://www.madamemiller.com/blar/dsg_fish_hole.jpg

And thanks for the welcome from before, Shelldragon! Nice interpretation on this one, btw. Hehe. :)

...Forgot to add, used some of Katherine Dinger's brushes: http://www.pocketmole.com/

The thing about bottomless pits is that the novelty eventually wears off.

Commander Obvious, that's pretty intense. It's a complete flip from the majority of humourous ones today. That one's going to stick with me for a while.

Commander Obvious. Very passionate and true. It is an endless hole, unless it was a happy birth. It could eat away at the woman the rest of their lives. Great way to look at such an "simple" topic.
