First digital painting

It's not really my first digital painting, but it's the first that I'm somewhat happy with. C & C PLEASE! I'm looking to learn a lot from everyone.

come on, people~ Let me know what I can do to make it better. Oh yeah, that was my first post. I've been lurking for months. I guess that makes this my. . . second post. hah!

+ More contrast - in the face between the light and darks, and highlights in the hair.

+ Better defined eye shapes, they look too much like footballs.

+ inner ear needs better structure

+ neck curves out awkwardly on the left side

I would say the whole image is a bit too blurry, needs to be sharper. Very good first start.

They just about covered it. You might try sketching on another layer before you start, to fix problems with symetry and stuff. Sure looks a load better than MY first digital painting!

But to say something nice I really like the look on him. A mysterious glare... could be a psycho. (Hope it's not a self-portrait, if so my apologees) :D
