ARgggggg I want to sunder my wacom apart... I'm trying to do a "speedpainting" (or a regular painting for the matter). Basicall I'm trying to just get a rough painting down (similar to the faces made of a few colors that look good no matter what hues are used. usually just a few browns and reds etc.).
Well.. i probably watched almost every single WPE on eatpoo, concept art, and sijun and i still dont get this at all. I see how they do it on there but im an utter failure in real life...
They do it so fast, and ive been trying like 2 hours and it looks liek this:

im trying just to work on the skin.. but ffs.. whats wrong :pissed: :pissed:
1. what brush is usually used in painter to do this?! I've tried like every brush and none of them blend the same way I see in OC (or even close, i know they are different programs). What settings hsould it be at (for the most part)?
2. How do i know what colors i should choose for the shadow. I followed staying in the same value range, but it still looks like he has bruises rather than shadows. none of it looks good at all
blah.. i just dont nkow. how aggravating
