if this is for a tattoo, i'd think that stylization would definitely make it better... also, i'd suggest bringing up that one antennae... having it flop down like that gives it the impression of being dead. if it's a tat, i'm thinking it should look alive and alert.
i'd also think a color sketch would be nice, as it's a butterfly. it wouldn't make much sense to do a butterfly tattoo in one color. kinda defeats the purpose, you know?
the shadows, particularly around it's tail, are a little confusing. i'd go for soft shadows, and don't go so dark as to compete with the butterfly itself.
the drawing is nice, but frankly isn't spectacular, as it reads as barely more than a study of a pinned butterfly... perhaps a focal point? do your stylized rendition and share it here. i'd be interested to see how you play with everything. hope my suggestions helped.

...yeah, nice drawing. :D
good handling of the graphite.
the only thing i can think off is that the angle of his left wing is a bit off... its not connected to the side of his body, but it starts on the side off his body and ends at the other side of his back....
i hope this makes sense, i'm not even 100% sure off it
