I am having issues... I was hoping I could preview my rotation in my cursor, but I cannot preview it unless I actually paint to see where my angle is... that's bad? Did I overlook something? :/

Also, I got art pen hoping I'd have stroke nibs with it already, but I got just a default nib with empty stand! Not even a nib metal grabber is there! Other thing to be disappointed about.. *sighs*
EDITED: Oops, I just found nibs hidden behind the papers! Haha, please discard that one!

Let's hope that the cursor issue is fixable though.. anybody???

Oh yeah my driver is up to date, just updated it today... and I'm using intuos 4 large, if that matters on windows 7.

I don't think Photoshop has an tip rotation preview, showing the angle you are holding the pen at. I wish it did. (That was actually one of the benefits for getting a Cintiq is that you can clearly see the angle of the pen tilt because you can just look at your pen!)

Metsys: Ah that's an quite unfortunate thing to hear. :/ Oh well, thank you for letting me know. Perhaps now I'm more motivated in using painter again just because they have it there!...

Photoshop CS5 has pen tip rotation brushes and live preview, CS4 does not; I think it is possible to add it to other brushes asides from the default ones, I'm not sure.

If you need to take a nib out, just use your teeth, that's what I do :P

Thanks ParadozTLH!

Teeth yeah, I just use my standard grip pen's metal nib grabber to do it, it works. Just.. know what I mean. :P

Anyways, it's strange that you mentioned that CS5 has it... for the 'default' brushes I use (CS 4 and earlier have that) don't have the live preview for the angle. However, I haven't tried their real-time brush (CS5 only) yet, perhaps it will work there with the live preview. I don't know otherwise how to do it... I feel like a n00b all over again... lol

Thanks again,
