This is more or less just concept art, but the design turned out alright in my opinion. there are a few tiny anatomy issues I'm aware of, such as the arm being too short. But as a concept I think it works fine. I may or may not color the rear few, and no, that isn't fishnet on her backside guys. =D

The stuff design is for a bludgeoning/slash energy weapon. It fires bolts of energy, like a blaster or tesla coil. Once depleted, she can bash people with it like a footman's mace.

Her hair was a bitch, and I'm open to any suggestions. It was meant to be almost gel like, or plastic. It grows in sheets, like wet hair on a woman might look like. Only it is smooth, one solid piece, and semi-clear. I may do some close-ups of the hair if time permits.

Anyway, thanks for the time, have fun guys. Live long and all that rot.

The head on the right looks like it's twisted back too far. Even with a straight-on view, I don't think we'd see her head in a direct profile; her head would be angled slightly towards the front. Twisting my head around (which hurt a lot, thank you very much Mr. Bounty Hunter Drawing Guy), I could only get it to about 5-10 degrees away from a direct profile, using my webcam to see what it looked like from the back.

Keep in mind, this is with my back straight to the camera. Your figure's torso is actually twisting to the right, so her head would be even more rotated towards the front instead of the dead-on profile view you have now.

I understand that they're mirrored versions of the same pose, and as such if one has a straight profile view then by all accounts the other should as well. However, the torso of your figure on the left is actually twisting to the right (her left) as well, whereas the torso on the figure on the right is twisting to our right (her right). In the pose on the left, the lefthand shoulder (her right) is closest to us, so in the mirrored pose from the back the lefthand shoulder (her left) should be closest to us, with the curve of the back angled to the right. This would allow for the profile view of the head from the back. Right now, though, the torso's twisted in the opposite direction in the back view than it is in the front view, so having the head in the same profile as the other side makes it look like her head's twisted much further than it should.

I sincerely hope this all makes sense and doesn't just come off as nitpicking. It's a very beautiful concept and I love the costume, especially the colors. This was just a posing issue that I thought I'd bring to your attention, and I hope to see some more of this piece soon =D

Edit: Forgot to say, the hair idea is awesome.

Well I was thinking everythign that lavhoes said. So I guess I don't have to say it too. But one other thing I noticed is that the strings on her boot is on a different boot in each picture. On her front pose it's her left boot but on her back pose it's on her right boot. Just a stupid picky little thing.
Great concept though. I like the colours and your early sketches look great, Wish I could sketch like that.

Machine God, I know! I noticed it after postin git. I feel like such a dork, was hoping no one would notice =D Oh, my GF says your alias rocks.

Tnx Farmer =D

Lav, you're more than correct. I didn't think about it too much, but it is pretty obvious now. Thanks a lot for the post and the observations. Helps me out in the future, and if I do further work, I'll fix the issue. =]

Hey, I thought this piece was finished. But I've been getting so much good feedback, I thought I'd work on it some more. A small update.

Hypt I am loving this man, the only small crit I have is the saturation level in her skin, it just seems to be too much to me.

Otherwise it is solid, I am so hearing quotes from the bird already lol.

Other than the things already mentioned, her right arm holding the shell weapon seems too short.
