These are a few of my layouts from my first class in animation layouts. They're all still WIP so any critique is appreciated. I already know I need to push my line weight further in them, but I'm waiting on that until I'm totally finished.

This was meant to be a downshot / establishing shot of the downtown area of town where I currently live. I'm decently proud of it for being my first attempt, though I wish I had changed the composition around a bit.

The second layout I did. Animation flat view obviously.

The line drawing for the third layout I did. Worm's eye view intended to show characters walking. In this case they are intended to be walking along the pathway on the left towards the viewer.

Tonal version of the above layout. Meant to be around 2:00 am. I still need to do some work with the sky, and pull out some of my lights more, but it's pretty close to completion.

C&C is welcome.

On the top one, the building in the foreground looks like it's tipping back towards the viewer. The buildings further back look perfect, but the sidewalk in front of those buildings looks like it gets thinner compared to the buildings. This, in turn, threw off the horizontal-ish lines on the building in the foreground.

Actually, looking at it further...it seems that most lines leading to the rightmost vanishing point are angled too far to the left compared to other lines that look more correct. I imagine you placed a vanishing point and led all of the lines off of that, so while it seems correct, the whole image looks tilted. The lines dividing the sidewalk blocks seem to be diagonal compared to the buildings, not perpendicular as they should be, and as I said before the building in the foreground looks like it's falling back towards the viewer.

The other two images look awesome. I love the dramatic perspective on the bottom one. Very striking.
