Well, I have been working on this for a day or two now, and I thought I would post it for some serious crits. If anyone has any, I would be more than happy if you would tell me.

Rock fully textured, with added striation. I might still add other types of rock to it, like another color, but I think this would be too hard so I will probbaly stay with a monotone:

Things to do:
City, Waterfall, Foliage, Moss, Atmospheric effects, spaceships(?), other effects (?)

oh and let me amend that and say that that was totally NOT what i was looking for in a crit.

this will look good once it's finished. Just wonder if the city in the middle might get lost against the mountain a bit.

added the waterfall, water spray mist and some basic foliage. I dunno where to go with the rock from here though. After I finish the trees, I am not sure whether it will look all that good.

I guess my only thoughts would be to change the way you're working on the project. Rather than work so detailed into one area while leaving other areas untouched, I would work with the whole picture at once so everything is consistent. You can see the direction of the piece as a whole if you're working into everything at once. I guess just block in your colors and shapes to see if they're working for you, then slowly detail everything as you go.

BTW, I'm hope it's just a placeholder for now, but you've got to get rid of that gradient background.

moved the foliage around to be more realistic, and started on the city and robot. And yes, the BG is just a placeholder.

Need to finish the rock and do a background. Some minor detailng too.

You might as well critique this people, I ain't goin' nowhere. Ignoring me won't help.
