Hello.

It's a very basic question about Photoshop:

Can I insert an image as an intelligent object (or a floating object) directly into another image (my final canvas) in Photoshop CS5?. Whan I'm making a caricature, first I need some reference photos and I've got to locate them around the canvas and if I have several photos I have to repeat several times the same tedious operation: load an image->select all->copy->go to the canvas where I'm gonna paint my caricature->paste->and then move the reference photo to the left or right side.

Too many steps for something that I'm sure I can make faster and simpler...

Thank you in advance.

You can just drag one image into the other's window with the Move tool.
